This Saturday marks the 40th anniversary of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers, and I believe theirs is now the longest running pipe show in America. CORPS was founded by Linwood Hines, the most modest and knowledgeable pipe smoker you’ll ever meet. He was, you may recall, the very first subscriber to Peterson Pipe Notes and has long been an advocate for all things Peterson.

Our very own Lee Skiver CPG will be at the show for an informal Pete Geek Meet. He’ll be easy to spot as he’ll be sporting the Pete Geek t shirt and our Dubliner flat cap. If you can make it, be sure to get your photo taken with Lee or send me a photo of your badge for a special Pete Geek CORPS Meet merit badge, or your CPG if you don’t already have it.
