Mannnnnnnn, I’m really wanting a 8s since I don’t have one in the collection….
Oh my! If only. I’d love to have a 20s Barley to match my 20S smooth and my 314 smooth. I have come to really like this shape. I used to think it too small; a pipe for shorter smokes. Properly packed however, with my favorite tobacco I can sip away for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Whew, It’s a good thing that the 4S is not part of that line up, otherwise I’d be in trouble!
Picked up a lovely 8S, but did not see any B42s. Sure love these tan-blasts!
Very tempting, but I already blew my pipe budget. Next time…..

I got a whopping total of 3 (9s,11s & 20s) to sell at my brick & mortar, so they weren’t exclusive to Smoking Pipes .com. If I got a few, there have to be others out there in the brick & mortar world.

I reserve strictly vor Virginia Blends/Flakes and it never get hot. Amazing I think it has to do with the grain pattern it is unbelievable thick.
This batch of Barleys come with the special 160th anniversary stamp on the shank, along with the elusive CP stamp.
Not only do you have to nurture the patina, but you also have to earn the closure of the wear gap over lots of time and smoking.
Are these briar pipes?

I am curious as to whether you can smoke multiple bowls in a System Pipe if you soak up the condensate out of the reservoir as you smoke? In other words, are System pipes necessarily relegated to a single bowl per day?
Yes, indeed. Made for it by design, as the army mount can be disassembled while hot. Shane Ireland told me he will sometimes pass 3 bowls through his System 303 back to back.
Better yet, smoke your System Pipe like you would a non-system pipe. If you have that much moisture dropping out of the smoke, you’re probably smoking too fast. #JustSayin
