Haha. He looked like he could hardly breathe, looking at those pipes! The ones over at SP EU lasted a long time – maybe there are still a few left?

Thanks Mark & thank you Josh for the coldđŸ„¶ trip to the pipe shop. and a big THANK you Dublin (for being 8hours ahead) AND for the two lovely 😍 PatOB Rustic & the PatB Dark Smooth 9mm pipes now winging their way westward to Nevada via UPS. Federica Bruno & her team. They are the best at w/ long distance helpđŸ‘đŸœ. As an outlier pipeman of p-lip & 9mm variety, I NEED to get most of my pipes from the good folks there. Always treated well. I do hope to visit the factory one day! Much success to all… Read more »

SP EU has always treated me fantastic. I used to only buy ‘special drops’ from them. It was tough, the other day, passing up the bent Ruas they had – my thinking being that you gotta grab what you want, when you see it. But I was afraid of the tariffs – were they included? I had no idea if the US prices would be significantly lower.

160th Anniversary Barley (Pat. B) P-Lip (70/2400) is on the way!
Luckily, I got in before the site crashed, like it always does.

I tried to buy a bent dark smooth using PayPal. PayPal took my money and sent a confirmation email stating that the funds had been sent to the Laudisis. But the site locked up and the transaction never completed. They are holding my pipe and will try to complete the transaction in the morning.

There seems to always be problems with these more popular drops at SmokingPipes.

Yikes!!! I hope it can all be ‘smoothed’ (dark) in the morning. HA!
I have had that happen to me & I know it is frustrating, luckily it looks like there are STILL nearly 70 Dark Smooth PatB bents. Good people working there, maybe a phone call will be placed & you are good to go. They have plenty AND they are holding THE pipe you chose! YAY!

Ashley fixed the problem for me and the dark problem has been smoothed out. This particular dark smooth is special for me: the number ‘714’ is my lucky number, so I looked and there it was – and, in dark smooth which I had been on the fence about. I know, I’m weird. There are other things about me that are even more weird – this was nothing.

Worked until 6 today, almost got a barley finish but it was sniped from my cart. Drove home all frustrated but some how I taped into the matrix and would up with Number 8, a Rua Pat. B. The website was a mess and somehow the Ruas didn’t appear unless I used the filter tool and selected sandblast in the finishes. Can’t wait to break the Pat B and the 2025 POY in this year over Christmas vacation.

I was on the site prior to the drop. I really wasn’t planning on buying one. I saw them the second they dropped. My first pick was sold out from under me so I moved on, carted and purchased another. The 2 pipe sets were pretty amazing, lots of of variations in there, but I just hung out for a while, looking at the available pipes. Not long after I got the “Apologies” page, then the site crashed, so I bounced out. No message saying I didn’t get what I supposedly ordered yet
so we’ll see how it goes. Pipe… Read more »

Peterson has put months if not years in designing and producing this series of Anniversary Pipes. And marketing them has been well done, especially releasing them just before the Christmas Holiday. Getting any of the high grades, or companion sets will be only for a select few, and with such a large limited edition, fear not, there are plenty to choose from. Hat’s off to everyone at Peterson for a job well done.

Geezer what a mess it was, I had two pipes in my cart and went to checkout and the site wouldn’t let me then it kept saying mycartwas empty nothing worked I even tried to call SP and got a recording they could not answer the call right now I left the site saying goodbye to two rustic then about an hour later received a confirmation email on my order. I guess the system couldn’t handle all of us Pete Geeks .I do hope everyone got the pipes they wanted. A

Was really after a set but knew I definitely wanted a dark smooth, seen the barleys and RUAs but didn’t drop the hammer on nothing but the Dark Smooth fast forward to today with its 1st smoke of Hal o The Wynd (fresh) it’s a great smoker right out the box but on the other note the Baccy was intense gonna have to give it some time to mellow out
