Hi, Mark. I’m new to the Peterson world, and have to say I’m quickly getting sucked in. I bought my first system pipe the other day, and I’m hooked. I really appreciate your posts and your willingness to share your Peterson knowledge with everyone. I really like the look of those tintackers, and if there is a chance for me to order one, I’d love to get on the list. Hi Bobby! I’ll send you the link for the sign up form tomorrow morning, or you can find it at the top or bottom of several of the most recent posts. On the big Pete book, yes, there is a chance it will be back in print, but it will not be until the copyright reverts to the authors next October. It’s pretty easy to get your CPG–see the info on the ABOUT page.

EUREKA!!! Good sized bowl, check. Shank at ~ 45degrees – the perfect angle, check! Tapered stem, check! But wait! Chubbiness shank AND stem!!! Double Check!!!
(to ramp up the excpectations : is the bit parallel with the top of the bowl???)

Hope you had a blast at the TX pipe show, have been seeing a few pictures, and it looked like a good turn out. Can’t wait to add the new tin to the garage and enjoy the pipe. Looks pretty sweet!
